I don't remember where I got this list but it's a compilation of several things you can do to be green!

 

 

Take shorter, cooler showers: water heaters account for nearly one fourth of your home’s energy use.

Inexpensive eco-friendly cleaning products….One of my fav’s….Method

 

Make your own natural cleaning products. Use baking soda to scrub the tub. Mix one part water to one part vinegar in a spray bottle for an all-purpose disinfectant and deodorizer. A half of a lemon dipped in salt will clean and shine your brass and copper.

 

Another disinfectant…..if you don’t like the smell of vinegar, cheap vodka or leftover white wine.

 

Stop unwanted catalogs and junk mail. 100 million trees are cut down each year to create the approx. 4.5 million tons of junk mail in the U.S.  28 billion gallons of water go into the production on American junk mail annually.
